Lounging lazily in my LikeNet captain’s chair, I gazed down through the ships expansive synglass window at a water world, twice the size of Earth, majestically rotating beneath my feet. Literally beneath my feet as the synglass, which was 10 times stronger than steel, rose from the floor to the 10 foot ceiling height and horizontally, port to starboard in an expanse that challenged the minds fear of heights. The apparent image was one of peace and tranquility, something the old blue Earth had almost never known.
This moment of serenity and peace was suddenly shattered as my grandchildren exploded onto the flight deck like a meteor shower tumbling, splashing and screaming while floating through every space of the deck in a torrent of excitement and laughter. Our RV had just crossed 50 light years of space to reach Arcus II, a never before visited planet. Arcus II with very Earth like seas and rich with life was reason enough to be excited; but, even more so was the prospect of soon exploring our new home. Over port holes down the length of our 1,000 foot ship, this incidence was undoubtedly being repeated over and over by our extended family. Six hours of space flight was without question more boring than young minds could tolerate.
Jonathan tumbled across the cabin doing slow motion pinwheels and planted himself like a starfish on the front synglass deliberately obscuring my view. He burbled enthusiastically, “grandpa, when is splash down?’ This was, of course, the thought on everyone’s mind. He then gleefully launched himself with all his might at his father, floating by the entry port 30 feet away.
Beyond the startling image of our new home below, everyone was focused on the ships Aura created by the black holes warp field. The torus of magnetic flux from the Haramein Warp drive was rapidly cooling, as evidenced by the visibly shrinking aura of spectral fluctuations around our ship; it would be safe to descend soon. They all knew the signs and Jonathan’s question was really rhetorical.
Our new home had none of the above water land masses of Earth. At times a large patch of land, might show its topmost edge just above sea-level near the Northern pole and then vanish. In essence, there was no dry land. Its Ocean’s depth varied far more than that of our home world, Earth. Yet millions of years of research had proven we could easily tolerate the heavier gravity, deep oceans and new food supply. Our ship was outfitted with everything we would need to start our new colony. It was the mission Nassim Haramein had envisioned when he realized humankind must escape Earth in some form or face destruction by catastrophic accident.
Nassim Haramein had changed the world with his refusal to accept the basic underpinnings of old Earth Physics. However, the world could no longer question his assumption that space was full of infinite density, not an empty vacuum, and we were just a manifestation of its creation. The first proof was the Casimir effect then came a rapid succession of high frequency electromagnetic devices that tuned in to the tetrahedral resonance of easily contained small black holes. Suddenly energy was ubiquitous and space time travel was limitless.
As I thought back to the late 21st century, I recalled the biggest ethics issues of the century was how to avoid contaminating the incredible worlds of life that were abundant and now easy to reach. Terraforming was quickly forbidden by the world council. It would be much easier to Genetically modify our structure to fit in with the new home planet’s and far more ethical. Here again, black hole technology fulfilled that need. In 2024, Janr Ssor had invented the Resonant Temporal Crystal Computer (RTC computer). Since difficulty acquiring information at any distance or time was meaningless in a black hole, the RTC computer could capture all the information contained in a distant world, add some variables such as a new GMO organism and watch a million years of its future evolution to see the outcome. It could do this millions of times in a split second, making simulations a thing of the past, after all, every possibility existed in an infinite universe, a black hole. By combining our chromosomes with those of this new world we had been designed to fit into the environment with little or no impact. As odd as it was on Earth, to have a second chromosome pair with a silicon base, here we would be well at home.
While lost in my reminiscence, our ship had begun its automatic descent and I was awakened from my reverie by the water line rapidly rising over our window. 30 minutes later, we completed our splash down, 1 mile beneath the surface waters. As I pressed the release button, that was now functional, the doors rose upwards with the grace that all things move in deep water. The thousands of members of my extended family swam and cavorted with glee into the warm embrace of our bright new home worlds waters.
I turned to look back at our Resonance Vehicle and wondered when we would meet another race of space fairing beings. In the polished metal, I saw my reflection. I did not look much different from the brothers and sisters born of Earth. My eyes were twice their size, my head 50 % longer but this was mostly behind my face and so had little effect on my facial appearance. Two dots for a nose and large neck gills were quite different but that was what was needed for life an Arcus II. Suddenly it dawned on me, I had just met another space fairing race.
